New York City
Jonathan is taking a training class in New York, so we’ve spent the last 24 hours in Manhattan. We’ll be here a total of 7 days/6 nights. We arrived at about 4:30pm yesterday afternoon and fly home on Thursday.
Last night we walked to Time Square and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. Today we went to Rockefeller Plaza. The following is a picture from The Top Of The Rock (Rockefeller Center).

Behind us on the left is the Empire State Building. It was quite windy and cold up there (the 70th floor). We took over a hundred pictures, just at Rockefeller Plaza alone.
Our room is on the 16th floor of the Sheraton Towers, and it provides a great view too. This morning before we went to Rockefeller Plaza, we took a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park and also spent time in the FAO Schwarz toy store. The following is Gail with the Toy Soldiers at the door of FAO Schwarz:

Our plans for tomorrow include visiting the Empire State Building, and taking the ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue Of Liberty.
Gail bought a bridal magazine at the airport before we left Phoenix. We’ve been reading through it as it provides a lot of great suggestions (as well as a few hundred pages of dresses).
When we get back we will be making our deposit with the photographer too, so things are getting closer!
